I was going to enter Pressingmatters February print contest where you could only use orange and green ink, but I made a mistake. I went to submit it and realized I had made my print the wrong size! After being annoyed at myself for not paying attention to the submission details I thought I am going to make a stop motion with this print and my idea worked! I am delighted with the results:)
It’s 2026 and I feel like the year is already going by at warp speed! I have now illustrated all 12 zodiac signs as downloadable digital wallpapers. I started this in June of 2025 and it’s been so fun finding out more about each sign. I will say that I found Capricorn a bit tough but I eventually got it! Goodbye 2025! Half way through the year I quit a job that made me sad and I was so excited to leave it in the dust. While searching for a new job I filled my days with working on art work and making animations. I had a blast and was able to create so may fun things over the last six months. I am feeling like myself again and start a new job next week. My last animation of the year was an ode to Mexican Hot Chocolate which brings me so much joy whenever I get a chance to have some. Scorpio and Aries are being served up for this round of digital wallpapers. These ones were fun but a bit challenging. For every zodiac there are colors that go along with each one and it can be a challenge to come up with a color story that I find pleasing. So far I have managed to come up with color combos I like. The next zodiac signs I will be working on are Sagittarius and Pisces!
